Gintzler International – NY, a Resource Label Group Company, has a long history of participating in community service projects to benefit local organizations – including food drives, blood donation appeals, clothing collections, and tree plantings. Recently, in conjunction with our sister site Advanced Labels North West, Gintzler is happy to have donated a Mark Andy 810 flexographic printing press to McKinley High School’s Career and Technical Education program.
The equipment contribution is part of a partnership established to develop a future workforce for the printing industry in the Western New York area. Although the course work itself is comprehensive, having the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with a flexographic press will benefit students immensely and significantly impact the overall success of the program.
In addition to McKinley High School’s Career and Technical Education program, the collaboration includes The Phoenix Challenge, Tapecon, and the Workforce Development Institute. Gintzler International is looking forward to further participating in this very special and worthwhile initiative!
