Industrial Labels For Durable Goods

Industrial products require high-performance labels for long-term durability, adhesion and outdoor capability. Industrial labels are made with UL/CSA-compliant materials and provide excellent automotive chemical and UV resistance that can survive harsh environments, such as “under hood automotive.” These items are ideally suited for application to metal, tough-to-adhere-to plastics, powder-coated paints, and even contaminated surfaces.

Markets served include the automotive, electronics, medical device and outdoor equipment industries.

At Gintzler, we offer:

  • UL-certified materials and production facilities
  • Technical expertise to help clients navigate through complex specification-driven durable product solutions
  • Laser die cutting for rapid prototyping and testing prior to the PPAP process
  • PPAPs supplied on final production specifications
  • Polyester, polyimides, Kapton® and other durable films to meet application requirements
  • Tamper resistant and tamper evident labels to support product and brand protection
  • Lower profile material options to support green initiatives without loss of performance
  • Products supplied per customer specification in various formats to ensure consistent performance within the application process
  • Serialized label and variable data printing, when required
  • No minimum order quantity requirements

What Does It Mean To Be UL Approved, Anyway?

Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is an independent organization that specializes in product safety testing, inspection, and certification. The “UL” mark signifies a product is safe when properly used as intended and can be found on items such as electrical appliances, electronic devices, safety equipment, things that hold or convey flammable liquids, and on certain components inside devices.

Manufacturers interested in displaying the UL symbol on their products must meet UL standards of compliance and obtain specialty labels from an authorized supplier. The Gintzler International – Texas facility has been found to comply with these requirements and is certified to print labels with the UL mark, on UL approved materials. We are listed as an authorized label supplier on the Underwriter’s Laboratories’ website and can provide labels, tags and nameplates on a variety of substrates – including foil, lexan, mylar, paper, polyester, polyethylene, polyolefin, polypropylene, polystyrene, Tyvek, and vinyl.
